Charity Tournaments to Watch in 2026
Some of Colorado's best tennis events aren't just about competition — they're about giving back. Here are two worth knowing about in 2026.
The Parlando Open
The Parlando Open is building a reputation as one of the Front Range's standout charity events. In its inaugural year, players showed up in force and raised more than $15,000 for Julie's Program — Parlando School of Musical Arts' outreach for people in the community living with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
"Music is her favorite thing in the world."
Year two is shaping up to be even bigger. The all-doubles format returns across Men's, Women's, and Mixed divisions, and the organizers are aiming for 250 players.
New for 2026
If you played last year, you already know — the welcoming atmosphere and post-match festivities keep people coming back. If you haven't, this is the year to check it out.

Hosted at Club Greenwood, the Tall Tales Ranch tournament is a pre-USTA-season doubles event that pairs competitive play with a meaningful cause. All proceeds benefit Tall Tales Ranch, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The round robin format runs Friday afternoon into Saturday semifinals and finals. Men's and Women's divisions return, and mixed doubles is new for 2026. Player goodie bags, breakfast, lunch, and snacks are all included.
Can't commit to the full tournament? Friday also features a drop-in adult drill and a kids clinic led by Club Greenwood pros — a great way to support the cause and get on the court.

Different organizers, different formats, different venues — but both of these tournaments independently chose to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Between them, they raised over $44,000 in their inaugural years alone. That says something about where this community puts its energy.
